A Multiple Listing Service (MLS) (also Multiple Listing System or Multiple Listings Service) is a group of private databases which allow real estate agents and real estate brokers to list homes they are selling.
Most MLS systems have a public site or access point so that the general public can see them and access them. To obtain an MLS number you must work with a Real Estate agent in one way or another.
